TDWB

touch-down weight bearing (also toe-touch weight bearing, TTWB)

The foot may touch the floor for balance only; it carries essentially no weight. Sits between non-weight bearing and partial weight bearing.

How it gets tested

The confusable pair is TDWB versus NWB. The tell in a question is whether the foot is allowed to touch the ground at all.
