millilitres per hour
The unit an infusion pump is programmed in. A drip rate counted by hand is in drops per minute (gtt/min) instead.
How it gets tested
Dosage-calculation items give a volume and a time and ask for mL/hr, or give mL/hr and a drop factor and ask for gtt/min. The unit tells you which formula the question wants.
